IEEE SSCS Distinguished Lecture by Dr. Jacob Baker

Prof. Dr. R. Jacob Baker threw light on main memories limitation and the various power handling problems. He explained the limitations of DRAM design and introduced the new technology of nanomemory modules and hybrid memory cubes. An interactive section with the chief guest was arranged in which Design Engineers from various Industries, faculties and students from different colleges actively participated.

CONFERENCE ON SOLID STATE CIRCUITS

29th and 30th August 2014

The IEEE SSCS student branch of Saintgits College of Engineering organized a two day conference on “Solid state circuits” in Saintgits College of Engineering. Er. Manoj Gopalan Nair, country sales head, Aptina Semiconductors Ltd., Bangalore, inaugurated the function. The programme was funded by the IEEE SSCS society.

IEEE KOCHI HUB WIE CONGRESS

1st and 2nd October 2016

The SAINTGITS IEEE Student Branch along with IEEE Kochi Hub organized the two day “IEEE KOCHI HUB WIE CONGRESS 2016”. The event had seen a participation of 131 students with 119 external participants from 15 Engineering colleges from the 5 districts of Kochi Hub.

IEEE PES Saintgits Chapter inauguration

The inaugural function of IEEE Power & Energy Society Saintgits Student Branch Chapter . The PES Student Branch Chapter was inaugurated by Er. Suhair A., Vice Chair, IEEE PES Kerala Section. During his inaugural address, he inspired the students to explore the technological advancements and to improve their career prospective by involving in IEEE activities and resources. The meeting was attended by Seventh Semester B.Tech and all M.Tech Students who are all IEEE PES members.
